Kathryn E. Lee, Esquire
Kathryn E. Lee is an associate attorney with Akin & Herron and has been a member of the Delaware Bar since 2002. She is a graduate of Duke University (A.B. 1979) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D. 1982). Ms. Lee began practicing law with the Washington, DC law firm of Smith Heenan and Althen, specializing in corporate law, tax-exempt entities and real estate. She practiced in the DC area for over 10 years, becoming a partner with Smith Heenan, before eventually relocating to the Wilmington, Delaware area.
Before joining Akin & Herron, Ms. Lee practiced in the area of real estate and contract matters in house with Transport International Pool, Inc., a GE Company, located in Devon, Pennsylvania. Once admitted to the Delaware bar, Ms. Lee joined the Wilmington, Delaware firm of Elzufon Austin Reardon Tarlov and Mondell, PA, as an associate in the real estate department.
Ms. Lee has been active as a parent serving on a number of school committees and as an officer within her homeowners’ association. Ms. Lee and her husband, a local physician, are the parents of three children. Ms. Lee grew up in Attleboro Massachusetts, and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, as well as Delaware and the District of Columbia.
